What is one fun fact about you?
I spend most weekends on the Monterey Peninsula staring out at California sea otters.
What is one thing that you like about working at Stanford?
Everyone is so eager to engage and generous with their time.
Tell us briefly about an event, project, program or initiative you were involved with at Stanford that you're most proud of.
My first assignment way-back-when in the Budget Office was working with actuaries on expanding the TGP benefit to its current level.
What is one of your favorite memories while working at Stanford?
Decorating the GSE dean's office in blue and gold before the 1998 Big Game (my first year at Stanford). I was coaxed into doing it by a junior faculty member who also went to Cal.

Be bold in reaching out to colleagues outside of your immediate work area to build your network.
