What is one fun fact about you?
I'm not sure anyone but me would call this fun, but it is funny - I've been at Stanford so long, it feels like the IT business systems and I have grown up together.
What is one thing that you like about working at Stanford?
The thing I most love about working at Stanford is it's such an energizing environment where people are passionate and engaged in their work and yet still go out of their way to learn about the work of colleagues in other disciplines.
Tell us briefly about an event, project, program or initiative you were involved with at Stanford that you're most proud of.
I love that my big mixed-media painting DayDreams of Blue is part of the Stanford art collection and hangs in Cardinal Hall.
What is one of your favorite memories while working at Stanford?
There are too many favorite memories! I love that in my 40+ years with Stanford, I've been able to work in so many different schools and departments - IT, OGC, GSB, Bing OS, Controllers, Student Affairs, and, of course, all of the offices of HR.
Leave your Legacy: What piece of guidance would you give a new hire at Stanford?
Stanford is so much more than just an employer. So go ahead and enjoy everything else - the museums, lectures, libraries, dance, concerts, plays, gyms, pools, continuing studies, sporting events, and so much more!
